  • Preparation for State Board Examination

    Theory of laws and regulations: Health & Safety, Infection Control, Hair and skin analysis, chemical technical services, facials, eyebrows beautification, make-up, manicure & pedicure, nail enhancement.

  • Practical Operations for 2

    Will be determined by faculty as needed to support theory and exam preparation and meet minimum state curriculum requirements.

Barbering License

1,000 HOUR PROGRAM AFTER COMPLETING COSMETOLOGY PROGRAM

  • Shaving or Trimming

    Shaving or trimming the beard or cutting the hair.

  • Hairstyling

    Hairstyling of all hair textures by standard current methods at the time of the hairstyling or men's grooming.

Esthetician License

APPROVED 600 HOUR PROGRAM

  • 600 Hours

    600 hours of technical lecture instruction on laws & regulations, health & safety, infection control practices, sciences, skin analysis, facials, eyebrow beautification, makeup, seeking employment, and the skin care business.

  • Practical Operations

    Practical operations covering all practices constituting the art of manicuring in client consultation, disinfection, manicuring, pedicuring, nail wraps & repairs, nail enhancements, mail design, and state board preparations.

Manicurist License

APPROVED 400 HOUR PROGRAM

  • 400 Hours

    400 hours of technical lecture instruction on laws, & regulations, health & safety, infection control practices, sciences, nail & skin analysis, manicuring, pedicuring, nail wrap repairs, nail enhancements, seeking employment, and the salon business.

  • Practical Operations
